Over the past couple of years, communication skills have declined across America because of the pandemic. During this tough time, people have seen other sides of friends, family, and loved ones they have never had enough time to notice before, which has brought out the agitation, impatience, and anger in the World. People now see that their households are more broken than they thought, and households are getting smaller due to others ’ mental emotions going out of control. When teens and adults act upon emotions now it resorts to weapons (blood shed) before the power of words that can save a life.

Let’s Talk

Social Media has had a huge influence on today's lives, so we use social media to reach out to those in distress and needing guidance.

Everyone has their own stories of pain and testimonies. Behind every face isn’t a life full of sunny days. Everyone has memories they want to bury. Words can be used to disperse or make everything worse.

Through empowering stories, merchandise, and advertising personal change, the campaign can reach out to anyone in every way. A dark composition and a vibrant color composition were used to reflect the street art vibe and appeal to young adults and adults.

The red and blood splatters used throughout the campaign conveyed the pain of the lives lost, and black embellishes the darkness of this time. The blue and warm colors show the light the path chosen if the right decision was made. Choose Your Weapon Campaign is reaching out to everyone, telling teens they have a decision to make like everyone else. Choose Your Weapon Processbook
